Which soccer competitions does Layup cover?

Eleven competitions post today. Each is a filter you can scope a channel to, and the clubs in each are listed, with their team values, on the soccer clubs page:

The honest boundary: 11 competitions is the whole list, and it is the list the autocomplete offers — every filter in it posts. What is not there is not offered: the Championship, the Eredivisie, the Primeira Liga, the Conference League, the Libertadores, the Copa América and the Euros are competitions the provider does not carry on our plan, so no league value exists for them until it does. La Liga and Serie A each have exactly one key, ESP and ITSA.

Does it cover friendlies and the knockout rounds?

Yes, both, because the bot never filters by round. Each poll fetches the day's fixtures by date, and any match in a competition it has loaded posts — preseason friendlies included, and the 211 national teams under the friendlies filter cover every confederation. A knockout round changes one thing only: the prediction poll drops its draw option, because the tie cannot stand. Group stages, league phases and the domestic season all post the same way, and the World Cup arrives from a second source with the same rule.

What a soccer alert looks like

A score post carries both clubs in their colours, the score, and the half with the live minute on the footer — 1H, 2H 73', ET1, ET2 — with the line beside it. The start post is labelled Kick-Off and, in the seven competitions with a league table, carries each side's position and record; the final can end level, and says so, or on penalties, and shows the shoot-out score.

Arsenal are covering a goal-and-a-half handicap at that moment and the match has gone past two and a half goals. A soccer total is the smallest number in the bot, so one goal can settle it, and the footer is recomputed every poll. The footer sits on every sport's posts and is described once, on the home page. World Cup posts carry no line at all: that source publishes neither a total nor a handicap.

How do I add soccer scores to my Discord server?

You need Manage Server, and the command runs in the channel you want the scores in — one competition per channel is the usual layout:

Soccer's keys are the vendor's competition codes — UCL, DEB, ESP, ITSA, FRL1, MLS, LMX, WC — and the table above carries each. Set the team option instead to follow one club; a club that plays in two competitions is a single entry and its feed posts both. Feeds post six categories of event, set per feed by its preset or its scope. Mapped to what actually happens in a match:

Can I get goals only, without cards and subs?

You already do, and not because of a setting: the bot has no substitution event and no yellow-card event. A booking is read into the player's stat line and never posted. The only card that posts is a red, and it lives in the Penalties category, so a feed with Penalties off is goals, bookends and momentum — the Highlights (no betting) preset keeps Penalties on; Scores Only drops everything but the bookends.

The lever that matters more on a soccer feed is the competition. Ten European and North American leagues play across the same weekend, and a channel scoped to sport:soccer posts all of them; scoped to league:EPL it carries twenty clubs and nothing else, and pings only on the big plays. Step 5 of the setup guide lists the five volume modes if you want to override that default.

The numbers Layup uses to decide a match got interesting

Soccer's thresholds are counted in goals, and they are the smallest in the bot after hockey's: two is a run, three is a rout, and clutch time is any one-goal game in its last ten minutes.

Can I get goals only, without cards and substitutions?

You already do. The bot has no substitution event and no yellow-card event — a booking is parsed into the player’s stats and never posted. Only a red card posts, and it sits in the Penalties category, so a feed with Penalties off is goals, bookends and momentum.

Which competitions actually post?

Eleven today: English Premier League, German Bundesliga, French Ligue 1, Major League Soccer, UEFA Champions League, UEFA Europa League, FIFA World Cup, FIFA Friendlies, Liga MX, Italian Serie A and Spanish La Liga. Those eleven are also the only eleven the league autocomplete offers — the provider lists ten competitions, the World Cup comes from a second source, and a competition the provider stops carrying drops out of the list rather than sitting there accepting a command it cannot answer.

Does it cover the World Cup?

Yes, from a different source than every other competition. World Cup games post goals, cards and bookends like any other, but carry no total and no player prop, so they fire no betting alert at all.

Can I follow one club?

Yes. Run /layup add and start typing the club in the team option; a club in two competitions — a Premier League side in the Champions League — is listed under each with the same value, and a club-scoped feed posts every match it plays in any competition the provider covers.

Is it free?

Free, with no paid tier and no account. A channel per competition, or per club, is fine; nothing is metered.
