How to follow one

Run /layup add in the channel you want the alerts in, start typing the surname in the team option, and pick the driver from the list. A driver-scoped feed posts the green flag, the checkered flag and every lead change in the races that driver is entered in, and nothing per lap.

How this list is built

The provider's active-driver roster is broad: it carries everyone with a record since 2016, and the bot keeps all of them so that a part-time entry can still be followed. The first block is the drivers the provider has a team on file for — the Cup regulars and the full-time lower-series field — and the second is everyone else, alphabetically. A driver being listed does not mean they are in this weekend's field; it means the bot will post their races when they run one.

Which filter to use

A driver is the narrowest scope: their races, the three alerts each, all of them pinging. A series — league:nascar-cup, league:nascar-xfinity, league:nascar-trucks — is every race in that series, matched on the provider's series id, and the three marquee filters (daytona-500, coca-cola-600, brickyard) each match one Cup race by name. league:all-nascar is every race in every series. There is no playoff filter, because the provider marks no race as one.
