Which NASCAR races does Layup cover?
Seven filters: the three national series, matched on the provider's series id, and three marquee Cup races matched by name, plus a catch-all.

The honest boundary: a race is either in a series or it is not, and the three marquee filters are Cup races only — there is no Xfinity Daytona filter. The provider carries no playoff flag either, so the playoffs are not a filter and not a label.
Does it cover the playoffs?
It covers every race, and it does not know which ones are the playoffs. The bot pulls the season's race list and tracks a race from twenty-four hours before the green flag until fifteen minutes after the checkered one, with no season filter to apply: the provider's race record has no preseason, playoff or championship field at all. A playoff race posts exactly like a spring points race, with the round in the title and nothing else marking it.
What a NASCAR alert looks like
A leaderboard, not a score. The start post is labelled Green Flag, the final names the winner, and the footer carries the series label; the lap appears as Lap 42 and the finish as Final.
NASCAR CupThat is the whole footer on a race post: there is no live line under it, because the mechanism that puts one under a football post needs two sides and a total.
How do I add NASCAR to my Discord server?
You need Manage Server, and the command runs in the channel you want the alerts in:

Which alerts fire during a race?
Three, in two of the six categories. NASCAR opts out of the shared team-sport detectors entirely — there is no scoring run, blowout or clutch time in a race — and the bot tracks no market for it, so the other four categories hold nothing.

Does it post every lap?
No. The lead-change alert is the only thing that fires between the flags, and it keys on the laps-led leader rather than whoever is in front on a given lap, so a green-flag pass and re-pass does not fire it twice — the driver who has led the most laps has to change. A caution-heavy race with several leaders is a dozen posts; a race one driver dominates is three. A driver-scoped feed sees the same three events for that driver's race and nothing per lap.
There is nothing to tune, and nothing to turn off. If a channel should carry the flags only, notifications set to Game Start & End pings for the two flags and lets the lead changes land silently; step 5 of the setup guide lists the five modes.
Every driver you can follow
867 drivers — everyone the provider marks active, generated from the bot's own startup load. The bot lists drivers with a team on record first, then everyone else alphabetically; that first block is the Cup regulars and the second is the rest of the active roster, part-timers and lower-series drivers included. NASCAR Discord bot FAQ
- Does it post every lap?
- No. A race produces three kinds of alert: the green flag, the checkered flag with the winner, and a lead change whenever the driver with the most laps led changes. A typical Cup race is a handful of posts, not a lap counter.
- Can I follow one driver?
- Yes. Drivers sit in the same team autocomplete as clubs — start typing the surname in the team option. The list is every driver the provider marks active, with the ones that have a team on record first.
- Does it cover Xfinity and the Truck Series?
- Yes, each as its own filter, matched on the provider’s series id rather than by name. The Daytona 500, the Coca-Cola 600 and the Brickyard 400 are additional filters that match a single Cup race by its name.
- Does it treat the playoffs differently?
- No. The provider sends no playoff flag on a race, so the playoff rounds are ordinary points races to the bot and post exactly the way February does.
- Is it free?
- Free, with no paid tier and no account. A channel per series is fine; nothing is metered.
