Which golf tournaments does Layup cover?

Eleven filters. The provider carries no tour field, so the bot sorts each tournament by its name: the majors, the playoffs and the team events match by name, and everything else on the PGA Tour calendar lands in the tour bucket.

The honest boundary: LPGA, DP World Tour, Korn Ferry and LIV are not in the subscription and have no filter, and the three team events — Zurich Classic, Ryder Cup, Presidents Cup — post their start and finish only, because the provider sends no per-player scoring for them.

Does it cover the FedEx Cup playoffs?

Yes, as a filter of their own: the Wyndham Championship, the FedEx St. Jude, the BMW and the TOUR Championship match league:pga-playoffs by name. Golf has no preseason to ask about, and there is no season-type filter to apply — the bot pulls the year's calendar and tracks a tournament from twenty-four hours before its first tee time until fifteen minutes after it is final.

What a golf alert looks like

Not a score line. Golf is the bot's leaderboard sport, so a post carries a rank and a score to par rather than a home-and-away score, with the round on the footer — Round 1 to Round 4, Playoff, Final — and the tournament name beside it. The start post is labelled Tee Time.

Round 2 · The Masters

The player's name sits in the title, not the footer. There is no live line under a golf post the way there is under a football one; the mechanism that puts one there needs two sides.

How do I add golf to my Discord server?

You need Manage Server, and the command runs in the channel you want the alerts in:

/layup add league:all-golf

Swap all-golf for masters or pga-playoffs to scope a channel to one event, or set the team option to a golfer — they sit in the same autocomplete as the clubs, and the suggestion reads Scottie Scheffler · Golf · PGA Tour. Which alerts fire during a tournament?

Golf uses three of the six categories, and a golf feed applies no category filter by default at any scope — the noise control is the contender gate described in the next section.

Golf runs for four days — how often does it post?

Less than the alert list suggests, because most of it is gated by position. On a tour-wide feed, a birdie posts only when the outright leader made it and a double bogey only when the player is in contention — top ten, or within five strokes of the lead. Everyone else's holes are recorded and not posted. What every feed sees is the bookends (rounds and the tournament itself), the leader changing hands, and the rare things — aces, eagles, a streak of three birdies. The cut fires once, for the whole field, when round two is official.

Follow one golfer and the gate opens for them: every hole of their round posts, tee-off to finish, whether they are leading or missing the cut. That is the scope to use for a channel that follows a player rather than a tournament.

Can I follow one golfer?

Yes. Golfers sit in the same team autocomplete as clubs — start typing the name in the team option. A followed golfer posts every hole of their round, tee-off and finish, not only the leader’s, because a team-scoped feed applies no filter.

Does it cover the majors and the Ryder Cup?

Each major is its own filter, as are the FedEx Cup playoffs, the Ryder Cup, the Presidents Cup and the Zurich Classic. The three team events post the start and the finish only: the provider sends no per-player scoring for them, so there is no hole-by-hole.

What about LPGA, DP World Tour or LIV?

Not covered. The provider subscription carries the PGA Tour calendar, and a tournament name that matches none of the filters lands in the PGA Tour bucket rather than being invented as a new tour.

Is it free?

Free, with no paid tier and no account. A channel for the majors and another for one golfer is fine; nothing is metered.
